   Guys: Did the 6 have the same front sprocket for the life of its production period?  I only have the parts book for the early machines.  
Reason I ask is I am wondering if the front idlers on the late production (60's - 74) machines can be used on an early machine, (58).

Also, did Allis beef up the truck frames or use a solid sprocket on any of the 6's.

Anyone having fun pushing dirt yet or are all of you still pushing snow?

Still got snow on the ground here.  Merv, Mactractor and Ian you blokes must be coming into late summer/early fall?

	Hi Orangeman. minnpar have now got parts books on pdf files for almost all allis crawlers that you can download for free. look under fiat allis for hd5 and up crawlers. I only have a book for 6000 engine models up, but this is what i can tell you. Front idler rim is the same for all models; but the track frame mounting brackets are different after 13981; and they change again after 15730. This is when the later track frames start with the enclosed track spring, As for sprockets early ones have 6 splines and later ones after 13595 have 20 splines. You may be able to make up a front idler to suit your early end caps and shaft using a later model rim. Others may have more to add. as haven,t really pulled any apart yet. Is start of our fall here. big storm over alot of nz today, not much rain at my end but alot of wind 50mph plus. But hopefully fine next week. 	Hi HD6Merv Can you get pins and bushings for the HD6G in NZ? I have not been able to find them in the US. Any idea what it would cost to ship to USA?

	There has to be someone in the US that has track for HD5/HD6 machines . Check Rock and Dirt adds or try calling some more track shops out of your area. They Thill Track and Tractor Eau Clare WI Northern Tractor in Osseo Mn was able to find many things others could not. Crawler Welding in Mankato MN

	Guy here with a track rebuilding shop is the agent for ITM or Intertractor undercarrige and i assume gets his stuff from Italy; europe anyway; So start with someone over there who is a intertractor agent.

Pin Length ??? Now, I see that the pitch is the same and that the link height is 3.3mm taller on the IH/Dresser, but that won't hurt anything. My question relates to the bushing outside diameter. The O.D. is 3mm larger, will that affect how the chain sits in the sprocket???? Also, I don't have the specs for pin and bushing length for the IH/Dressor, so I don't know wide the rails are. 	Maybe pin length/chain width is the eliminating factor Coke. I`ve heard a number of HD6 owners say the TD9 chains wont work. Quite a few years back, our track shops told us Berco stopped doing replacement track equipment for all AC crawlers. Luckily, After a while Berco started production again.

	Berco is who I suspect MINNPAR uses, they have ceased production again probably for good this time per Katy at MINNPAR, she would not say they were their supplier but would also not deny it. Per Katy since CNH bought up FA it seems all componentry is starting to decline quick, same holding true for the OEM stuff for my 180. Katy and I spoke quite awhlie on the track pins I was looking for, her best guess was never on lead time down to 6 or 7 months if they did return to making pieces for my 7G. It has 7.00 pitch where the HD6 has 6.50 and is more common than mine

	I sent emails off to Berco USA suppliers, to North American Track in SC and to Undercarriage Specialists in OK & ITR America in Indiana to see if they can repair these assemblies I have.

	Orangeman, We've got our 45 grader working, so some dust. Driven by diesel apprentice son so far - I get to learn later. Will post on "non-available" steering box and shaft bearings later. Re tracks FWIW. A neighbour has a HD16DP (in excellent working shape. Plus HD 15 and prodified HD 19 of an earlier post). His version on Allis special tracks like that is there is only a production run when world wide orders make it worthwhile. So you have to queue and wait. But looking at others might pay. We have a FA 10 dozer. And the only non-metric bolts are the 5/8" track shoe bolts. From which I suspect Fiat liberated an existing track chain rather than inventing their own. Links number etc might suggest HD 11 but I don't know for sure. I've also heard that small Fiat track chains work on TD6/BTD6 Internationals (but don't have the track shoe locking key slots)

	When looking for track for myFD5, I came across some track a dealer in Eldron WI had he bought at a auction. They were new Berco and had pads with them. On contacting Berco sales rep for this area and asking him for specs on the track he was LESS then helpful. In fact next to rude and refused to give much or any information. Seems unless one wanted to order large quantity of something you were wasting his time. They use to have their catalog on line for all specs for track but it's not available now or last time i checked.
